Wall Street Journal article discusses cold laser

Wall Street Journal Discusses Cold Lasers and The Use of MicroLight’s ML830® for Treatment of Carpel Tunnel Pain

An article in the Wall Street Journal’s “Health” section by Laura Johannes, speaks to the growing use of cold lasers for treatment of “a broad range of pain and swelling,” The article has this to say about the ML830®:

MicroLight Corporation of America Missouri City, Texas, markets its laser for carpal tunnel pain based on a study of 119 auto-industry employees that found 72% of those who received five weeks of laser treatment plus physical therapy had returned to work after three months compared with 41% of those who got physical therapy alone.

The Wall Street Journal article also references Dr. Jan Tunér, author of several books on laser therapy, as “skeptical of very low-powered lasers” such as Erchonia’s five milliwatt product.
